WhoDis Terms of Service
Draft of 22 October 2026, for review by a lawyer before publishing. Text in [square brackets] must be filled in.
1. The agreement
These terms are an agreement between you and Dezynum Software Services (OPC) Private Limited ("we", "us"). By using WhoDis you accept them and our Privacy Policy. If you do not accept them, do not use the app.
2. Who may play
WhoDis is for adults: you must be 18 or over, and not previously banned by us. There is no sign-up: online play uses a guest identity stored on your phone, with a nickname and an avatar from the app's own set. If you uninstall the app or clear its data, that identity, and with it your online stats, cannot be recovered.
3. Rules of conduct
Pretending to be the friend whose face you wear is the game. Everything else must stay fair and respectful. You must not:
- harass, threaten, bully or hate on anyone, including for their religion, caste, race, gender, sexuality, disability or nationality;
- post sexual content of any kind, and never anything that sexualises or endangers a child (see our child safety standards);
- share your own or anyone else's phone number, address, social handles or other personal details;
- use the game to pretend to be someone outside the game, to deceive people for real, or to arrange to meet strangers;
- spam, advertise or post links;
- tell anyone outside the chat which face you wear, or play several phones in one room;
- use cheats, bots, modified apps, or try to read data the app does not show you;
- attack, overload or reverse-engineer our servers;
- use a nickname that breaks these rules or pretends to be someone else.
4. Reports, blocks and enforcement
Tap any face in a room to report the player behind it or block it. A report sends us the reason and the room's last 50 messages; the reported player is not told who reported them. Blocking hides that face on your phone only. The host of a room can remove a player between rounds.
We review reports and may remove content, warn, suspend or permanently ban a player, depending on how serious the breach is and whether it has happened before. Content that is illegal or puts someone at risk may be reported to the authorities; child sexual abuse material is always reported.
If you think we got it wrong, write to support@dezynum.com within 30 days and a different member of our team will look at it again.
5. Your content and our app
Your chat lines, questions, answers and nickname stay yours. You let us show them to the players in your room, keep them for the periods in our Privacy Policy, and use them to review reports. That permission ends when the content is deleted.
The app, its name, avatars, artwork, sounds and code belong to us. You may use the app for personal play, but not copy, resell or build a competing service from it.
6. Price and availability
WhoDis is free, with no ads and no in-app purchases. If we add paid features or ads later, we will update these terms and tell you in the app first.
We try to keep online play running, but rooms can be interrupted by maintenance, outages or updates, and an interrupted round may not be scored. We may change or remove features, and we may require you to update the app to keep playing online.
7. Disclaimers and liability
The app is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses, lost scores or stats, or for what other players say or do. Our total liability to you for any claim is limited to INR 1,000. Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law does not allow us to limit, or your rights as a consumer where you live.
8. Ending online play
You can delete your online data at any time in the app (settings, then Your data) or as described at https://whodis.weyug.com/delete-account. We can suspend or ban a player who breaks these terms (section 4). We delete guest profiles that have not played online for 24 months.
9. Changes to these terms
We will show a notice in the app at least 14 days before a material change takes effect. If you keep playing online after that, the new terms apply.
10. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at Gurugram, Haryana have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer in the EU or UK, you also keep the protection of your local consumer law and can bring a claim in your local courts.
